Appointments: Andrew Jackson, McCormicks Solicitors, Westcourt Group

LAW firm Andrew Jackson has appointed senior solicitor Erika Sinclair, who joins from Lupton Fawcett Denison Till’s York office.

She has expertise in private client matters including inheritance tax, lifetime estate planning and the preparation of wills and powers of attorney.

Her appointment follows that of Philip Ashworth, who joined the firm as a partner from Bond Dickinson.

McCormicks Sara MorganHARROGATE-BASED McCormicks Solicitors has hired Sara Morgan as a senior associate.

She joins with 30 years experience at Leeds commercial law firms with experience in employment law.

Senior partner Peter McCormick said: “Our Employment portfolio has been growing and Sara will bring her renowned experience and leadership skills to the team.

Westcourt group developmentsTHE Westcourt Group has boosted its team with the appointment of Luke Dawson as head of property sales.

The Harrogate-based development firm has plans to extend its commercial property portfolio, and Mr Dawson will be responsible for sourcing new development opportunities for Westcourt.

Westcourt currently owns prominent commercial properties in Leeds, Sheffield, York, Harrogate, Rotherham, Ripon, Northallerton and Skipton with tenants including Dorothy Perkins, Caffè Nero and Skipton Building Society.
