Appointments: Filplastic, Target Information Systems, Well Met (Leeds Beckett)

BUILDING supplier Filplastic have boosted its team with a raft of new appointments.

The firm is targeting the north and the Midlands after hiring Gary Winter and Tony Corrigan, as well as Georgie Tooke and Karen Feasby who will be based at the firm’s head office in East Yorkshire.

Sarah Costello has also joined Filplastic on the accounts team.

Paul Taylor, managing director of Filplastic, welcomed the new recruits to the team.

“Tony and Gary are key appointments for us who will push the Filplastic brand in the north and the Midlands,” he said.

“With the support from Georgie, Karen and Sarah we are in great shape to capitalise on an upturn in construction and retail industries, which ultimately drive demand for our products.”

Calibre RecruitmentRECRUITMENT agency Calibre Search has added to its construction division with the appointment of consultants Sam Sykes and Elliot Barwick.

They will become part of Calibre’s construction division, headed up by Mark Brennan.

Well Met Alex WoodTHE conference division of Leeds Beckett University has announced the appointment of conference and events host, Alexandra Wood.

The Conference division, Well Met, is led by Jeremy Bradshaw and has seen an increase in bookings.

She joins from Hilton Worldwide where she was a group conference and events analyst.

Kate Davis, head of Business Development for Campus and Residential Services at Leeds Beckett University said: “Following recent business growth, we are delighted to make this appointment. We were impressed by Alex’s skills and experience, and feel that she will seamlessly fit into the team, helping us to continue to deliver an excellent level of service.”
