Law firm undergoes MBO

A DIRECTOR at Michael Lewin Solicitors, Abbie Keech, has acquired the firm from its owner.

Founder Michael Lewin has sold 100% of his equity in the firm to Ms Keech, formerly director and head of RTA at the firm, for an undisclosed sum.

She will now become the firm’s managing director, after working at the firm for 11 years, and growing the RTA and personal injury divisions.

The move will also see director Rob Crompton promoted to fill Ms Keech’s former role as head of RTA, and Mr Lewin will stay on as a director.

Michael Lewin Solicitors has clients from all around the UK, and the firm is now preparing for growth, as Ms Keech has not ruled out further acquisitions.

She said: “It’s too early confirm the direction the business will take, but we are still focussed on providing the range of services and client care that Michael Lewin has driven for over the years.”
