Former mill gets new lease of life with £2.5m redevelopment

COMMERCIAL property rentals firm Towndoor are half way through a £2.5m development project.

The Dyeworks in Huddersfield will provide industrial and trading units for the town, from between 2,500 sq ft and 26,000 sq ft.

The Albert Street site is off the A616 Lockwood Road, close to the town centre.

Managing director Dan Bamforth said: “We are breathing easier now as Commercial Property Company Towndoor Ltd are on schedule with our latest £2m development injecting new life into Lockwood on the banks of the River Holme close to the heart of Huddersfield.
