Appointments: BHP Clough Corporate Solutions, DWF, BCL Legal
PETER SARGENT has been appointed at BHP Clough Corporate Solutions as a consultant.
The insolvency and turnaround expert has had more than 35 years’ experience in the sector and has previously run his own practice, which he sold to a national corporate rescue organisation.
He is a former president of insolvency trade body R3. Mr Sargent will work alongside BHP CCS’s seven strong team, which specialises in advising and guiding both individuals and companies through all types of financial challenges.
Mr Sargent said: “BHP CCS is a well-respected and reputable Yorkshire insolvency team which I am delighted to be joining. I’ve always enjoyed my work and even after 35 years I still thrive on identifying ways to preserve businesses, before guiding them towards a solution, so I’m looking forward to the challenges this role offers.”

LEGAL firm DWF has promoted a director and an associate in their Leeds offices.
Recoveries specialist Kevin Feehan has been promoted from manager to director, which is a role equivalent to a partner at DWF.
Tracy Rose has been promoted from senior solicitor in the real estate team.

LEEDS-HEADQUARTERED firm BCL Legal has appointed Juliet Lawson as a senior consultant.
She boosts the company’s Yorkshire and North East team, handling commercial vacancies at all levels from paralegals to partners within private practice across Yorkshire.
She started her career in recruitment 15 years ago, working at companies including PSD Group and ran her own recruitment business, Lawson Brown Legal, for four years.
