IT firm adds to its network with acquisition

NORTH YORKSHIRE IT business Vital Network Solutions has bought Leeds-based Octari for an undisclosed sum.
Both Vital and Octari offer a complementary range of IT solutions, including support, business continuity, Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services, to small and medium-sized businesses across Yorkshire and the UK.
“The acquisition of Octari is a great way to end 2015 which was already a year of positive growth for us,” said Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Network Solutions.
“Octari has a similar ethos to Vital, working closely with its customers and earning itself a well-respected reputation. We both have a strong client base, our services complement each other and this reinforces our position as a one of the region’s leading IT service providers.”
Octari, which is based at Tower Works in Granary Wharf, Leeds, has been bought for an undisclosed sum from the firm’s founder, Marcus Robinson, who founded the company in 2004.
