£1m investment in North Yorkshire pub

A NORTH YORKSHIRE pub is employing 30 people to support a £1m investment in its site.

The Kings Head in Richmond was acquired by The Coaching Inn Group in February 2016.

Now the group is looking to improve accommodation and its food offering as part of the investment.

The 26 bedroom business, will get an eatery and coffee house, due to launch later this Spring.

Founder and managing director of The Coaching Inn Group, Kevin Charity, said: “We’re delighted with the reception we’ve had from the local community so far and can’t wait to unveil the results of our investment.

“We want to be known as the go-to place in Richmond for relaxed dining throughout the day and evening and are holding two recruitment days for new staff, where anyone looking to develop a career in hospitality will be able to learn more about this opportunity and the extensive training programmes we provide.”
