INVESTMENT management and stockbroking firm Redmayne-Bentley has welcomed two investment managers to its Leeds team.

Roy Kaitcer has joined the Leeds investment services team from Brewin Dolphin where he was divisional director in Manchester, having been with the firm for almost 20 years.

He has more than 35 years’ experience in the industry, having begun his career in 1980 at Henry Cook Lumsden in Manchester. He moved to Charlton Seal Dimmock in 1985, where he spent five years as an investment adviser. He also held positions as assistant director at Bell Lawrie White and Quilter Cheviot before moving to Brewin Dolphin. 

Redmayne-Bentley has also hired Thomas Dawson from Investec Wealth & Investment.

He is a chartered wealth manager and chartered accountant who began his Thomas Dawson Redmayne Bentleycareer with Grant Thornton in 2006 before joining Investec in 2010, where he was a discretionary investment manager in the Leeds office.

TERRY JONES, lead partner at BDO in Yorkshire has welcomed the election of Paul Eagland as the new managing partner.

Mr Eagland, who succeeds Simon Michaels in October, has been a member of BDO’s leadership team since 2008 and has held a number of senior leadership positions during that time.

Key positions include head of national tax, head of national audit and, most recently, head of national professional services.

LEEDS-based private equity house Endless has hired John Stout as director in its London office.

He joins with more than 14 years’ experience at Lloyds Banking Group, where he was a director in the leveraged finance restructuring team.

Garry Wilson at Endless, said “It’s great to have an experienced lender on board and John will help us deploy the £100m we have specifically set aside in Fund IV for acquiring and providing debt.”

Mr Stout added: “I am delighted to be joining the Endless team and look forward to working with them to develop the firms debt purchasing and stressed lending capability.”
