Appointments: Senior hire for £140m construction company; President appointed at Society of Chartered Accountants

CLUGSTON GROUP, the £140m privately-owned company, which has interests in construction, logistics, facilities management and property development, has appointed Ian Pattison to the senior management team as group finance director and company secretary.

Mr Pattison joins Clugston from AIM-listed support services business Restore, where he was finance and commercial director. He brings both financial and commercial experience to the company, having previously worked in senior roles with Cape, Boeing Australia and Asda.

Mr Pattison will replace Howard Bales, who will retire from the group after 14 years.

Colin Whitehead, the new president of the Bradford Society of Chartered Accountants and Tim Parr of RSM, outgoing presidentCOLIN WHITEHEAD, a partner at Naylor Wintersgill Chartered Accountants, has taken on the role of president of the Bradford Society of Chartered Accountants.

He said: “I’m very proud and honoured to take on the role of President of the Bradford Society of Chartered Accountants.  As someone who has always worked within Bradford during my 14 years at Naylor Wintersgill, I understand the importance of the local business network working closely with the wider community in the city and I feel my experience serves me well to strengthen the links within our Society.”
