Fintech company doubles space in Leeds

FINTECH business beprotectedinsurance.com has doubled its office space in Leeds to house 100 new staff.

In March, the insurance comparison company announced that it would be creating 100 jobs as it looked to triple its size over the year. It has already filled 50 of those roles, with more digital roles available.

Now it has expanded to 5,000 sq ft at Wellington Park House on Thirsk Row, taking three floors.

The site will be beprotectedinsurance.com’s head office in the UK.

Adrian Watson, managing director of beprotectedinsurance.com said: “It is an ideal location for our national headquarters. Leeds is rapidly growing as a global centre for fintech and has a long history of providing great customer service through contact centres, with pioneers like First Direct leading the way.

“The larger office will help us grow and will be refitted to provide a state-of-the-art, creative, working environment.”
