IoD relocates to make way for HQ refurb

THE Institute of Directors’ members lounge in Leeds is to be refurbished over the summer months.

The popular facility at Old Broadcasting House will close on June 9 and is scheduled to re-open in October.

From June 16, the lounge will have a temporary home at the Rose Bowl, Portland Crescent, part of Leeds Beckett University.

The Rose Bowl is a five-minute walk from Old Broadcasting House, with short-term parking available to members.

Members can present their IoD membership card at the Rose Bowl’s cafe to receive complimentary tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

The refurbished Old Broadcasting House is set to be relaunched with a new members evening on October 22.

The IoD regional office will temporarily relocate to Queens Square House, directly opposite the Rose Bowl, from June 14.
