100 jobs created with restaurant launch

RESTAURANT chain The Botanist is creating 100 jobs with the launch of its ninth site in Sheffield.

The New World Trading Company, which was sold to Graphite Capital and is the brainchild of Living Ventures founders, has launched its Sheffield site at Leopold Square.

The 10,000 sq ft site is in a grade II-listed building in the city centre.

Hot on the heels of its Sheffield opening, a York site will follow later in the year.

A spokesperson for The Botanist said: “Leopold Square is a great location in the heart of Sheffield and the site will mark our second opening in Yorkshire, closely followed by our York site due to open later in the year.

“It will bring 100 jobs to the city and we hope it will really add to the already vibrant leisure offering in the city.”
