Hotelier completes newest refurbishment

A HOTEL owner has completed the refurbishment of his latest acquisition.

The Embassy Hotel in east Hull was acquired by Paul Green, owner of the Nightel Humber at Humberside Airport, from Lee and Sarah Chester.

Mr Green also owns several serviced apartments in the city centre catering to executives.

The company is also building the region’s first Hampton by Hilton hotel, also at the airport.

The site, opposite Alexandra Dock where the £310m Siemens manufacturing hub is located, has 23 rooms as well as revamped cafe and bar, Gingers.

Mr Green said: “The Embassy has always been popular with locals and visitors alike and is well known in the city. But as the renewables revolution gathers pace, it’s location has become its greatest asset.

“As the renewables industry grows on both sides of the estuary Nightel is growing with it. Our accommodation has been specifically designed with the energy sectors in mind and Nightel Express is the latest addition to our portfolio to provide this.”
