Restaurant set to move in as £2m Greek Street refurb completes

THE newest phase of the Greek Street overhaul has finished following the completion of a £2m project, and the launch if a new restaurant on site.

Next month The Lost & Found restaurant will be opening. Part of the Revere Group, the Birmingham-based restaurant chain serves British food plus sandwiches and cocktails.

Just down the road, 12 Greek Street has undergone a 32-week transformation as part of an ongoing refurbishment of the well-known street which has been recently pedestrianised.

The plans for a new and improved street include new bars and restaurants, as well as a Dakota hotel which is opening next year.

The 12 Greek Street refurbishment created 15,000 sq ft of office space following investment from London company Ricsion, which acquired the building from Northumberland Estates last year.

Ricsion has appointed the Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank and Harvey Burns & Co as joint marketing agents for the building. Work on site was completed by contractors Stainforths.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, commented: “The profile of Greek Street is currently being transformed with new bars and restaurants, together with a Dakota hotel opening early next year. An exceptional number of amenities are available in the immediate vicinity including Carluccio’s, Gusto, The Alchemist and All Bar One.”
