US manufacturer takes on new-build industrial site

THE UK arm of American manufacturer ITT Inc has taken a new-build industrial unit in West Yorkshire.

Carter Towler has completed the letting of E3 DeVilliers Way in Normanton on behalf of fund management company St Bride’s Managers.

ITT Industries Ltd is now looking at beginning production at the Trident Park site, delivering customised components to the chemical and oil & gas markets.

ITT Industries’ Lee Scollay said: “Such a significant investment in a UK flagship service and training facility demonstrates ITT’s commitment to further partner our customers. With markets being challenged to reduce costs, we see this as an exciting time for ITT to demonstrate our innovative solutions and help customers achieve their business objectives.”

Carter Towler’s industrial agency associate director Josh Holmes said: “This has been a fantastic project for Carter Towler, the unit is high spec and in a great location at junction 31 of the M62,” explains

“Trident Park has a number of top quality tenants including West Yorkshire Police, Bosch Rexroth, SEW Eurodrive and now ITT Industries. St Brides’ foresight in forward funding the unit has proved to be a very shrewd business decision; there was a lot of interest in leasing it.”

Nick Arundel of agents AWS added: “The whole Link 62/Trident Park development has been a massive success; together with Carter Towler we have concluded property deals here totalling over 2,000,000 sq ft in the last 18 months.”

Cushman and Wakefield advised ITT Industries. AWS, Carter Towler and Gent Visick acted on behalf of St Bride’s Managers.
