Agency hatches growth plans with Leeds Dock move

PR, social, sponsorship and events agency Hatch Communications has relocated to newly refurbished office space in Leeds Dock to accommodate continued growth.

Following a strong start to 2016, and as part of a wider strategic growth plan, the agency has relocated from Wharfebank Business Centre in Otley, where it was founded in 2008.

Hatch is the latest agency to move into Leeds Dock, which has been acquired by Allied London and is being redeveloped as a new creative hub for the city.

Jason Madeley, MD of the agency, said: “This move gives us the room we need to continue to grow and provides us with an ideal location for not only our staff, but also our clients.

“In the last 18 months, Hatch has gone from strength-to-strength following a rebrand and a number of new account wins. It’s the logical next step for us to move into the city so we can really make our mark as one of the leading agencies in the region.

“The developments and plans at Leeds Dock are really impressive and we’re excited to become part of the vibrant community of what will be Leeds’ new creative hub.”

Tim Gee from Allied London, added: “We’re thrilled to have Hatch onsite. We’re creating a hub for enterprising companies and entrepreneurs at Leeds Dock and Hatch is a very exciting company which will bring a new dimension to our growing community.

“Hatch is a business that understand and share our vision for Leeds Dock. Working with them has been refreshing and I look forward to continuing this new relationship as we grow our creative and digital offering at Leeds Dock.”

WSB Property Consultants are the retained agents for the scheme and represented Allied London.
