Network Space adds to stable with £5.5m worth of warehouse deals

REAL estate and development group Network Space has acquired more than 84,000 sq ft of warehousing space in Yorkshire over the past six months.

Represented by commercial property agents Gent Visick, in the three separate transactions totaling £5.15m, Network Space has bought properties at Silkstone Court in Barnsley, Centurion Business Park, Rotherham and Willowbridge Way in Castleford.

Gidon Amar of Gent Visick said: “We are delighted to have introduced and successfully acquired these properties on behalf of Network Space.  The market has become extremely competitive for similar quality stock.  The transactions, which include off market and freehold vacant possession purchases, demonstrate the strength of the market.”

Martin Mellor of Network Space said: “All three units display excellent underlying fundamentals which are consistent with our portfolio, whilst Yorkshire continues to be a stronghold for us.”

The vendors were represented by Carter Towler on Silkstone Court, Sanderson Weatherall for the Centurion Business Park deal and Michael Steel and Co. for Willowbridge Way.
