Retailers flock to Hammerson’s £165m Victoria Gate

NEW retailers have been announced for the all-star lineup at Hammerson’s £165m Victoria Gate development.

The development, which is now 74% let, is due to be completed in 2016. The John Lewis building will be finished in October 2016 say developers.

Footwear brand Russell & Bromley has now joined the lineup signing up to a 1819 sq ft shop, as well as luxury brand Aspinal of London, taking up 1,431 sq ft.

Anthropologie, one of the first to sign up, is to be joined by Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, £Other Stories. Le Pain Quoitdien, Neom Organics, T2, GANT, Hackett, and international restaurant group DD&D will be taking space as well.

On a site visit yesterday, three restaurant were revealed for Victoria Gate, including DD&D and a Japanese site, as well as undisclosed tenants for its central restaurant in the main arcade.

A casino and sports bar has also been developed at the site, which will be taken on by Global Gaming Ventures.
