City’s oldest pub gets Beer Festival underway

LEEDS’ oldest pub has launched its second annual Beer Festival.

The teams at Whitelocks and The Turk’s Head Leeds have been searching for top brews under the “New European” theme.

Breweries Northern Monk Brew Co, North Riding Brewery and Kirkstall Brewery are all getting a slice of the action for some Euro-themed collaborations especially for the event.

The inaugural event kicked off last year, and this year rare new beers will be on offer alongside special British brews with a European twist.

Rare, interesting and delicious beers will be on the menu.

The festival launched yesterday at 5pm and will be continuing all the way through to Sunday.

A special glass and detailed plus your first drink and a beer programme will only set you back £5 for a ⅔ measure.

Thursday 28 July – From 5pm
Friday 29 July – All Day
Saturday 30 July – All Day
Sunday 31 July – All Day
