Multi-vehicle accident causes M62 standstill
A MULTI-VEHICLE incident on the M62 has closed the road westbound and is expected to badly affect drivers at the start of Friday evening rush hour.
The traffic is affected between junction 25 and junction 27 – between Gildersome and Chain bar.
West Yorkshire Police said that an air ambulance on route to attend the scene of the accident.
They advise avoiding the area at the moment if possible following the road traffic collision.
It is expected to clear between 18:00 and 18:15 on 19 August 2016.
