Got a legal question? Legal365 has the answers

PEOPLE always have questions that they want to ask a lawyer, but the costs hold them back, said Ajaz Ahmed chief executive of Legal365.com.

Legal365.com is the place to get free answers to legal questions, and it was founded when Mr Ahmed, best known as a founder of Freeserve, realised that people want answers to everyday legal issues in plain simple English – and they don’t want to pay for it.

So Legal 365 was born, and now the website offers more than 6,000 answers to legal and tax questions, with an added jargon glossary.

This week, TheBusinessDesk.com are posting two different legal questions a day on the site, and Legal365 are providing the answers.

Mr Ahmed said: “The idea behind Legal365.com is that there are so many people out there who want to ask a legal question but daren’t ask a solicitor, a lot of the time because they are scared about the cost they might incur and might not understand the jargon used.

“Solicitors are like doctors, when people meet them and find out what they do, they start asking them questions. That’s how the idea for Legal365 came about.

“It’s all in simple English and each entry might only a few paragraphs but you end up learning so much about law.”

He said this was only the start of the growth of Legal365.com, which will be expanding to cover video and audio as well. “Lawyers better get worried!” he said.
