Where do you live/where are you from?

I live in Leeds City Centre 80% and South West France 20% of my time, this flips depending on work commitments (mainly birthdays and parties, oh and the weather!)

What is your favourite place to visit in Yorkshire and why?

The Cow and Calf Rocks, my family are from Ilkley so it’s a very special place.

What is still on your “to do” list in the region?

I’d like to abseil down the Cow and Calf

What is the most memorable meal you’ve ever had in Yorkshire?

My most memorable meal was a pulled pork sandwich with my dad on his last day out to Harewood Game Fair

What is your most Yorkshire trait?

It’s my ability and fearlessness in talking to anyone, about anything anywhere, anytime.

Favourite piece of trivia about the region.

That underneath the Queens Hotel is “Leeds Beach” – it’s a ghostly dry riverbed from when they diverted the Aire to build the Station in 1800s

What is your favourite cultural icon to come out of Yorkshire?

Has to be Joseph Priestley, he was a true genius and has changed the world.

First experience of Yorkshire (for non-Yorkshire folk)

Worst experience or thing about Yorkshire?

It winds me up that, we settle for second place. Where’s our tram service?!

What is one thing you’d steal from Lancashire (or other UK regions) if you could?

The tram, any tram just nick it, NOW!

What is the most overrated thing about Yorkshire?

It’s arts and culture, I think there’s still a way to go.
