Jet2 creates 250 jobs with latest airbase opening

JET2.COM has announced that it will be creating 250 jobs at its newest air base, its first in the South.

The Stansted site is their first at a London airport, and was announced earlier this month .

This comes less than a month after the announcement that the Leeds-based airline, owned by listed Dart Group, would be creating 1,000 jobs across its existing bases, including 135 staff at Leeds Bradford Airport.

21 European leisure destinations are available from the airport including: Lanzarote, Malaga, Alicante, Dubrovnik, Faro, Madeira, Fuerteventura, Girona, Crete (Heraklion), Ibiza, Kos, Larnaca, Gran Canaria, Menorca, Paphos, Majorca, Pula, Reus, Rhodes, Tenerife and Zante.
