Agents appointed on 96-acre site

MORE than 96 acres of agricultural land in the East Riding of Yorkshire has hit the market and is expected to appeal to a speculative investor on the hunt for strategic sites.

Keyland Developments has instructed the Harrogate office of Carter Jonas to sell the site to the west of the village of Dunswell, some five miles north of central Hull and five miles south of Beverley market town.

The site is dissected by the A1079 road which connects Hull with York.

Carter Jonas is marketing the land for freehold sale as a whole, or in two lots of 43.79 acres and 52.93 acres.

Sam Johnson, associate at Carter Jonas, said: “We are pleased to have been instructed by Keyland Developments and we anticipate that the land will appeal to a speculative investor looking for strategic sites within the Yorkshire Region.  Whilst we have only recently launched the site, it has already had a good response from the market and further advertising is scheduled for the coming weeks.”

Ryan Unsworth, development manager at Keyland Developments, said: “The land we acquire from Yorkshire Water is so diverse that interesting opportunities such as this arise for investors to acquire land holdings in well-connected locations such as Dunswell, which is on the main arterial route between York and Hull.”
