Golf resort gets £500,000 investment

A £500,000 investment in a golf resort will allow it to focus on its fitness offering.

Qhotels has invested half a million pounds in the development of two fitness studios at the Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort in Brigg.

It will also go towards the refurbishment of the resort’s 68 rooms and improvements to its championship golf course.

The two new fitness studios, costing a combined total of £300,000, allow the hotel to offer 55 fitness classes per week, as part of a continued focus on attracting and retaining Health Club members.

Gary Moran, general manager at Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort, said of the investment: “We’re always looking at ways to make improvements to our resort based on feedback from our customers, to attract even more business and leisure guests from across the country.

“We’ll be continuing to invest in areas of the hotel in 2017, including upgrading a number of our facilities and making further improvements to the 27-hole golf course.”
