Doncaster "pocket rocket" entrepreneur to appear on The Apprentice

THE Doncaster-based owner of a children’s clothing store has been revealed as one of this year’s Apprentice candidates.

Frances Bishop, who runs Pud which has outlets in Doncaster, Newark and Nottingham, has described herself as “a pocket rocket”, and that she is “quite fiery” and lives by the rule ‘kill them with kindness’.

In her biography for this year’s Apprentice which starts on 6 October, Bishop says she being “talkative with a feisty personality” has got her so far in the business world. She also said she wants to impress Lord Sugar with her “strong, positive outlook”.

Bishop became the sole owner of Pud after being gifted shares by co-founder Rachel Mawby in December last year.

Pud stocks leftover last-season designer kidswear from Harrods, Selfridges and French Connection.
