Jobs created as industrial cleaning firm makes HQ move

A BUSINESS which specialises in industrial and commercial cleaning has moved into new premises, creating 10 jobs, to support business growth opportunities after a six-figure banking deal.

Hull Cleaning and Supplies has moved into new premises at South Orbital Trading Park with funding support from NatWest.

The family-run business has been in operation since 2009 offering commercial cleaning, regular contract cleaning, industrial kitchen cleans and builders cleans to customers in and around Hull and East Yorkshire.

Hull Cleaning and Supplies also has a wholesale outlet from which it sells and distributes a range of cleaning products, janitorial supplies and cleaning chemicals, some which the business manufactures.

The business had been operating from rented premises before moving into a 4,500 sq ft unit earlier this summer.

Twenty-four staff are employed at the company after it created 10 jobs following the move.

Gary McMaster, owner and director of Hull Cleaning and Supplies, said: “Having our own premises gives us so much more flexibility so we can develop the business as we need to. We can modify the building to accommodate our growing needs more efficiently which benefits the business and our customers.”

NatWest relationship manager Paul Wright said: “It’s an exciting time for Hull Cleaning and Supplies following the move into new premises. The new unit will give them much more flexibility to develop and we wish the business every success for the future.”
