Chambers expands in Leeds

FURTHER expansion by Exchange Chambers has led to it taking another 2,000 sq ft of space at its Oxford House base.

The Chambers opened in Leeds in 2010 and has 29 barristers covering practice areas from commercial and crime to employment and insolvency.

The Set also has two Leeds-based silks, Christopher Tehrani QC and Nick Johnson QC.

Director of Chambers Tom Handley said:”Our Leeds Chambers has made giant strides in recent years. The additional space will help to facilitate further expansion as we continue to welcome outstanding barristers across all practice areas.”

“As one of the country’s largest Sets, the multidisciplinary nature of Chambers enables us to pass on the economies of scale to both our barristers and our clients.

“By embracing modern working practices we are also able to increase revenue and minimise costs. Members receive instructions on the very highest quality work and also benefit from the option of flexible contributions. This combination is fuelling our growth.”

In a further boost, Exchange Chambers has secured its highest ever rankings in the newly released Legal 500.

Exchange Chambers has also been shortlisted for Regional Set of the Year at the Chambers UK Bar Awards.
