Selfridges contract in the bag for maintenance firm

LEEDS contractor G&H Maintenance has been appointed by high end department store Selfridges to manage its recently refurbished office in Leicester.
 
The company will maintain the retailer’s main offices outside of London that provides support centre, essential back-up and administrative services.
 
G&H Maintenance – part of the G&H Group – will manage the upkeep of all mechanical and electrical building services equipment as well as services such as lift maintenance, lightning protection and access control.
 
G&H Maintenance will also ensure the site is fully compliant with certification of services such as natural gas, refrigeration and water hygiene.
 
The contract win follows the full mechanical and electrical build of Selfridges & Co’s office carried out by G&H Building Services.
 
Director of maintenance at G&H, David Ridsdale, said: “The Leicester office is critical to Selfridges & Co’s business so it is imperative all building services such as power, heating and cooling, IT services and lighting are fully functional at all times.
