Shopping park part of £260m retail portfolio sale

A ROTHERHAM retail park is part of a portfolio that is being sold for £260m.

Fund manager Brockton Capital is putting its collection, which includes The Foundry Retail Park in Rotherham, on sale according to Property Week.

JLL has been appointed to market the portfolio which includes nine regional sites, including the Cardiff Gate Retail Park which cost £36m, The Riverside Retail Park in Warrington, The Ravenside Retail Park in Birmingham, Springhill Retail Park in Bangor, Northern Ireland, and Gloucester Retail Park.

Formerly called the Great Eastern Retail Park, Brockton acquired it in partnership with Pradera in 2012 for £22m.

The 154,000 sq ft site is home to DFS, B&M, The Range and CSL.
