Start-up Spotlight: Growth hots up for healthy drinks business with major supermarket listing

HOT on the heels of a nationwide listing with online supermarket Ocado, Yorkshire start-up t plus drinks has now signed a deal with retailer Wholefoods UK.

Harrogate-based t plus drinks has produced a range of vitamin infused healthy hot drinks blending Sri Lankan green tea with vitamins, functional herbs and natural fruit flavours.

As well as Ocado and Wholefoods UK, the company’s products are also stocked at Revital health stores and over 100 independent health stores, gyms and yoga studios across the UK.

t plus drinks was created by husband and wife duo James and Jade Dawson.
They noticed a gap in the market in regards to a healthy hot drink that provided proven health benefits – each t plus drink has EU approved health claims.

Mr Dawson said: “Wholefoods are a leader in the health food sector and a real trend setter in the UK market. They’ve been a big target of ours from day one since we created this company so we’re thrilled to be listed with them and look forward to working with them in creating a new category of healthy hot drinks.”
