Creative: Agencies join forces for launch of microbrewery bus tours; Trio of hires for Hatch; and more

THREE York creative agencies have joined forces to help a start-up business offering microbrewery bus tours across Yorkshire prepare for launch.

PR and communications firm The Partners Group, branding and design agency United By Design and web development company See Green have been working with entrepreneur Mark Stredwick to create a brand, develop a website, build a social media presence and manage a press launch for his brewery bus tours business Brewtown.

Brewtown Brewery Tours, which is based in York and launched earlier this month, gives beer lovers the chance to go behind the scenes of Yorkshire’s top craft breweries for guided tours and sample some of the best beer in the county.

Inspired by a love of craft ale and a desire to help put microbreweries in his home county of Yorkshire on the map, Mr Stredwick developed the idea for Brewtown having seen a similar business model work successfully in Australia, where he’s lived for the last 16 years.

“Brewtown Brewery Tours are about giving people the opportunity to explore the incredible range of craft beers and real ales Yorkshire has to offer,” he said.

“I returned to the UK after living in Australia with the seed of an idea in my mind, and was genuinely surprised to see that there’s nothing like this running already.

“That gave me the drive to get the business off the ground, and I was also keen to find local businesses who could help me prepare for launch. A combination of internet research and recommendations from friends put me in touch with Owen Turner at United By Design and Karen Tinkler at The Partners Group, who in turn introduced Anne and the team from See Green. The three businesses complement each other incredibly well, and they have worked seamlessly together to help me develop the Brewtown brand and story and get the business ready for launch from a marketing perspective.”
