Charcuterie launches festive cheese & wine pop-up

A SERIES of events, workshops and a pop-up shop offering a taste of what’s to come to Leeds has launched this week, just in time for the festive period.

Based in Leeds’ Grand Arcade Ham & Friends will be a wine bar, wine shop, food hall and restaurant all in one. A cheese room from renowned local cheesemongers, George & Joseph and a wine school run by Yorkshire Wine School will also be part of the new concept set to open in early next year.

Friends of Ham, the charcuterie bar behind the Ham & Friends venture have temporarily stopped construction for December in order to open their All the Trimmings pop-up.

The temporary wine bar and cheese & wine shop – which is open until December 24 – hopes to give visitors a feel for what will be on offer in Leeds next Spring.

As well as All the Trimmings, Friends of Ham will be running an array of festive events with everything from wreath and Christmas decoration making classes to wine tastings and pop-up beer shops.

Live jazz from local bands, festive fun days for the kids and workshops showing visitors how to create their own Christmas gifts from home will also be on at Leeds’ Grand Arcade up until Christmas Eve.
