Former DLA Piper lawyers launch consultancy

TWO former DLA Piper lawyers have launched a account management consultancy.

Darren Francis and Natalie Rogers have launched RTZ Upstream, which helps the professional services retain and develop their key client relationships.

The pair said the London and Yorkshire-based company would help organisations through active key account management.

“The idea came whilst sharing our experiences of helping professional service companies to nurture their client relationships” explains Ms Rogers.

“We both run separate strategic marketing and business development consultancies and one big challenge that we routinely encounter is encouraging firms to have the right type of conversations with their clients; conversations that extend beyond the immediate transaction they’re involved in.”

RTZ Upstream is also bringing in the experiences of client management professionals, four based in the UK and others in New York and Australia. The company has plans to develop a presence in other leading international centres.

“Assessing, auditing, valuing and making sense of key client relationships is our business” said Mr Francis. “We offer bespoke project management and reporting options. Firms can use our services to explore the strength of the relationships they have with clients, to retain them and identify business growth opportunities. Banks, accountants and other professional advisers can engage us to undertake relationship audits that get beneath the surface of a business connection.”

RTZ Upstream operates out of London and Yorkshire.
