Sky Bet doubles Wellington Place space
LEEDS business Sky Betting & Gaming is doubling its presence at Wellington Place.
The company, which divested from parent group Sky earlier this year, is taking two floors at MEPC development No. 6 Wellington Place.
It already occupies three floors at its current HQ building at No. 2 Wellington Place and the new additions will bring Sky Bet’s presence at Wellington Place to 80,000 sq ft.
The company plans on splitting its 150-strong tech team into 15 units, across floors two and three of No. 6. The extra space will allow room for another 460 desks for its gaming contact centre, customer operations and trading teams.
Fit out was by CFK and space designs by SpaceInvaders.
Head of technology in the Bet Tribe, Paul McCormick, said: “This marks a huge step-change for us in realising our growth ambitions. It’s been important to have a purpose built space to grow the business, improve efficiency, improve retention and explore innovation, designed for everyone.

Developers MEPC completed 5, 6 and 10 Wellington Place and 3 Wellington Place is due to finish in 2017.
