£880m turnover Dunelm hires former George at Asda boss

DUNELM has hired the former boss of George at Asda, as it responds to a homewares retail market that is increasingly driven by fashion.

Fiona Lambert has joined the homewares giant as product director at the £880m-turnover store chain, the Daily Mail reported.

She worked at George for eight years before being promoted to run own label brand development for the Asda group.

During that time Ms Lamber relaunched the Asda home range under the George brand.
