Argos and Littlewoods deals spark Yorkshire expansion for Homespares

HOMESPARES, a major supplier of spare parts for domestic appliances and consumables for in and around the home, is launching an office in Leeds after securing new distribution contracts with Argos, Littlewoods, Very and Swan.

The office, located in the Princes Exchange Centre, will be the third office in the UK for Homespares and will create 15 jobs.

Managing director of Homespares, Kirk Whitehead said: “Our staff and business partners are very excited about the plans to open an office in Yorkshire. The office will bring us closer to valued customers based in Yorkshire and provide us with a springboard for growth in the region.”

Established in 1962 and currently employing 50 people, Homespares started off selling spare parts for domestic appliances. It now carries more than 13,000 items in stock and have access to over a million additional spare parts from a wide variety of manufacturers which enables them to supply many national retailers, supermarkets, DIY, electrical and home furnishing stores.
