Traffic alert: Strong winds cause M62 closures

THE M62 is closed in both directions to high sided and vulnerable vehicles between Junction 22 (Saddleworth) and Junction 24 (Huddersfield) due to strong winds.

Diversion westbound: Follow the solid circle symbol

Exit at J26 and take the 4th exit onto the A58 eastbound for approx. 10 miles then turn right onto the A646 eastbound for approx 17 miles. At Todmorden take the A6033 southbound. At Rochdale take the A58 eastbound for approx 3 miles then take the A664 for approx. 2 miles. Then take the A6193 southbound to rejoin the M62 at J21
