Brand specialist wraps up deal to acquire design firm

Brand and digital agency The Wrapped Agency has snapped up design company Space Creative.

The companies will merge and be named Wrapped, with headquarters in York as well as a London office and plans in the pipeline for a Leeds site.

The combined company will have 15 employees, as well as an experienced board, with former Costcutter chief executive Nick Ivel joining as non-executive director.

Cassie Ivel, formerly of KPMG, will act as finance director.

Ed Storey, formerly of Space Creative, will lead the Creative division at Wrapped, Martin Holmes will head up digital and Rachel Clark, who has previously worked at Red Bull and Savills, will lead on PR and social media.

Wrapped also announced a formal partnership with digital expert and Google trainer Simon McCaskill.

It will be led by managing director and co-founder Kate Eady who has over 25 years of industry experience. She said: “We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Space Creative and our partnership with Simon.

“With the Space team and Simon on-board, we now provide a full suite of branding, digital and PR services to our clients and we are focused on continuing to grow our team and enhance our offering.”
