Harrogate bar closing as Gino D’Acampo launches latest site

The Harrogate Restaurant Bar and Grill is set to closed as TV chef Gino d’Acampo launches his latest site.

The Italian chef has announced the openings of Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant sites in Harrogate and Liverpool this summer, in partnership with Individual Restaurants which own the Restaurant Bar and Grill brand.

He launched his Leeds site on Park Row before Christmas, which also includes a champagne bar and a 150-cover restaurant.

D’Acampo is best known for his TV series Gino’s Italian Escape, which is now in its fourth series.

He launched his first restaurant in London My Pasta Bar, before teaming up with restaurateur Steven Walker, founder of Individual Restaurants which is behind the Piccolino, Restaurant Bar & Grill and Bank Restaurant & Bar.

The chef has opened sites in London Euston, Leeds and Manchester so far and is planning on opening more pasta bars as well the restaurant brand in cities and transport hubs across the UK.
