Yorkshire profits plunge to nationwide low

BUSINESS confidence in Yorkshire has hit a 16 year low as profits plummet to the lowest in the UK.
According to Lloyds TSB's latest Business in Britain survey confidence has fallen to -34% - the lowest balance for the region in the survey's history.
The report, based on the responses of more than 3,400 UK firms, charts the performance of businesses across the country and their views on prospects for the coming year.
