Fox Hayes in administration

YORKSHIRE law firm Fox Hayes has gone into administration with the loss of 115 jobs.
The Leeds-based law firm was mainly focused on the residential property market following the sale of its commercial and private client business to rival Lupton Fawcett last month.

Does this mean the Leeds story of financial services being the route to sustainable regeneration is quickly turning sour?The Sheffield model now appears much more robust, although maybe not so sexy, some would say. The creative industries may also now be more fully supported in Leeds, but on second thoughts maybe the penny, or Euro, has not really dropped yet in that the finance industry really is upside down. However the City fathers of Leeds, can take comfort from the Bradford Regeneration folks who have completely buried their heads in the sands of a new City Park, sand provided by demolishing the City Centre to make way for the former Woolworths and other such retailers, now thats what you call thinking outside the box.
