Debt recovery duo join DWF

DEBT recovery specialists Ron Lack and David Scottow have joined the Leeds office of law firm DWF to help develop its debt recovery practice to serve public and private sector clients on a national basis.

Mr Lack was formally head of Incasso, the debt recovery business owned by Cobbetts, while Mr Scottow was operations manager.

The duo have more than 50 years’ experience in debt recovery between them. Incasso has developed from six people to a team of 75 generating annual fee income of more than £3m.

At DWF Mr Lack and Mr Scottow will be helping to build a volume-based debt recovery and litigation practice with the long-term aim of becoming a leader in the UK market.

Mr Lack said: “David and I were introduced to DWF by a former client who was impressed by their reputation in the business recovery sector.  We were persuaded to throw our hat in the ring as we believe that DWF will assist us to rapidly accelerate the growth and development of the services we can offer both new and existing clients.”
