NORTH Yorkshire-based speciality food wholesaler Northern Select Foods has acquired the distribution arm of Sweet Moments - a Northallerton-based family business which makes and distributes quality handmade fresh desserts.

The Richmond-based family-run wholesaler has been distributing Sweet Moments products for more than eight years and the amalgamation of the distribution arms of the businesses will help both companies reduce costs and their carbon footprints.
