For the record, this years Venturefest Yorkshire was attended by a record number of delegates. As Project Manager I can say we did try our best to get great speakers and promote them to the peope due to attend, we also put out PA announcements 5 and 10 minutes prior to speakers starting. The fact is Venturefest Yorkshire provided a great networking opportunity and delegates this year seemed intent on networking. We'll try even harder in 2010!

Enjoyed some of the seminars especially Rob Northfield. However they were not very well attended. Were general visitor numbers down from previous years? Does the marketing of Venturefest itself need to be shaken up for next year?? Loved all the kids stuff going on and it's great to see young people involved in enterprise (especially the primary age children). It's just a shame that more business folk didn't bother to take much interest in it. Every time I passed by these areas there were few visitors. But very well done to those who got the 'business folk of tomorrow' involved in this event.
