Migrant construction workers twice as likely to die than UK staff

RESEARCH carried out by the Centre for Corporate Accountability and published by Irwin Mitchell's Sheffield office shows that migrant workers employed in the construction sector are at least twice as likely to die at work than those from the UK.
And now the two organisations are urging the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to do more to ensure the safety of non-UK employees.
