Innovate
The Northern Technology Institute (nti) Leeds is more than just a training centre. With so many talented creative and multimedia professionals working in the north we wanted to provide something different. A place where people can learn new skills, exchange ideas and work collaboratively. We work with innovative and creative people every day and we believe great things can happen when you combine imagination, technology and a little bit of know-how. We believe in fostering innovation through training, collaboration and shared ideas. And as part of Leeds Metropolitan University, we also want to build skills in the region and act as a networking hub for new and established talent.

Learn
nti Leeds offers a wide range of creative and professional training courses. You'll be training alongside like-minded individuals using real-life examples that relate closely to your day-to-day work, whether you're a film-maker, photographer, web designer, IT guru or project manager. Our courses take place in state-of-the-art training suites equipped with large screen Macs. They are delivered by trainers who exceed our exacting requirements. These facts combine to make every one of our courses a high return investment.

We are the Apple Authorised Training Centre for the Yorkshire, Humber and North East region and we're also authorised training partners for Adobe, Zend, Red Hat and Project Management. We run regular courses in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro, Flash, Logic, Fireworks, Mac OS X, PHP, Linux and PRINCE2.

Meet
We know how important it is to network. It brings in new business, new ideas and facilitates learning and opportunities. Based at the former home of the BBC, Old Broadcasting house in Leeds city centre, this unique space is now a hub for the creative and digital sector in the region and provides a home for regular networking and industry events. We're also a handy meeting place for groups including Barcamp, Northern Bloggers, Geekup and OpenCoffee.

Open Source for Business (OS4B), a joint venture between nti Leeds and Yorkshire Forward, is designed to help regional businesses make the most of open source technologies. At the heart of OS4B is a centre of excellence for open source, based at nti Leeds, Old Broadcasting House, including part-funded training (at least 60%) on open source products to help your business thrive. We look to champion the communities and ecosystems growing out of these technologies and offer an ever-growing number of training courses for Open Source products such as Zend PHP, Red Hat Linux and Google Android, delivering courses from our state-of-the-art training facility, based at Old Broadcasting House in Leeds city centre.
