Paul is a Director in Deloitte's Corporate Finance Advisory business in the North East. Having previously worked in Arthur Andersen he has over 13 years' experience in professional services, ten of these in Corporate Finance.

Over this time he has been involved in the completion of more than 36 transactions with aggregate value of £1.65bn. These include acting for a large number of companies, private equity houses and individuals on a range of deals covering disposals, acquisitions, Management Buy-outs and Buy-ins, public to privates and flotations. In addition, Paul manages a number of long-standing retained advisory relationships.

Paul's recent credentials include advising management on the £300m secondary buyout of Republic, backed by TPG; as well as previous disposals of Smart & Cook, dabs.com and Rocom Group and private equity fundraisings on behalf of the shareholders of both SSP and Adler & Allan.
