UTILITY support services group Spice has made its third acquisition in less than a fortnight.

The fast-growing Leeds group has bought Glasgow-based Gas Heating UK and its subsidiary Gas Call Services in a deal worth up to £2.7m.

It follows Spice's acquisition of Liverpool-based commercial energy broker Saturn last week and Chepstow telecoms firm Redbridge Management Services.

The deal for Gas Heating UK is for an initial £2.25m plus another £450,000 depending on completion of accounts.
