Bethan Evans

Beth is Senior Partner at Bevan Brittan and was elected into the role in May 2012.  In this role, she leads the market facing activities of the firm, working closely with our key clients across the public, private and third sectors.   

She is an experienced local government lawyer rated as Band One in Chambers specialising in advising local authority clients on new ways of working including the governance around shared services and outsourcings, innovative delivery models including company structures and probity/standards.  In addition, Beth has advised on issues ranging from investigations into conduct and standards matters, to complex partnering arrangements with other public sector bodies or with the private sector.

Prior to joining Bevan Brittan in 2002, Beth worked for four local authorities as an in-house lawyer, dealing with all aspects of public sector law.   She was a Returning Office and Monitoring Officer and led major projects, working with cross disciplinary teams and elected councillors.
